On August 6, 1988, known simply as “Aug 6,” there was a riot at Tompkins Square Park in Manhattan. The police tried to calm down the protesters, but instead, violence ensued. The exact details are vague, however, what we know is extreme acts of revolution, anger, and “transgression” occurred against the public. They it was the “police’s fault,” but this is a misnomer. On August 6, a real revolution occurred against the normative world.
And it’s not about “liberty” either. That’s for sure.
One day, violence against the modern world was expressed. Everyone has a different side of the story, and no one is innocent as a victim. Revolution was expressed as an action, and as a movement.
“Outcasts and social rejects preferred but not essential.”
Industrial society is on the verge of collapse. A martini glass is a symbol of decadence, and with it, it is being poured out to symbolize that “the party is over.” What is to come is a new era after self-destruction, hedonism, and liberalism to create a new world. Like in the straight-edge subculture, the pouring out of alcohol and depravity means the creation of something new.
The AxA movement declares “The party’s over.”
On Aug 6, we want to recreate the paranoia, horror, fear, excitement, shock, and revolution potential that happened at Tompkins Square Park. Some remember April 20th as Adolf Hitler’s Birthday or the day the Columbine shooting happened. Think about how the liberal elite feared the “January 6 United States Capitol attack.”
The AxA movement desires a day like that is going to come again.
We honor and symbolize the martini being poured out. The party is over when we say it is. And we proudly spray paint this symbol to celebrate our future victory against the state and society.
The AxA movement is about disrupting parties, hurting normies, attacking liberalism, and making everyone feel uncomfortable. We don’t care about your feelings. We want irrational harm against all subcultures that hate us for being AxA. That’s what the martini is about.
We know that the 60-Second Wipeout is coming. It’s the day when everything is obliterated. Just like the mystery behind the Tompkins Square Riot, we incite the wipeout through our graffiti and our actions. We are a scattered collection of anarchists and anti-gentrification militants. We want to desire more than anything. If things don’t go our way, we will yell, “The party’s over!”
Post the martini wherever you go. This is a symbol of the AxA movement. It's yours too.
