Daniel Sine is a fucking dick
I dislike this hipster by the name of Daniel Sine because in 2015, he commissioned Chris Chan (Christian Weston Chandler) to draw some album art for his power electronics act.
If you know something about power electronics, it's based upon pretentious transgressive, and violent themes. He is ironically glorifying Chris Chan’s demise, a mentally retarded man who is ridiculed by equally pretentious white people. And it's not about a universal dialogue about transgression he is presenting, it's rather a pretentious act that where he claims social status among his gang of Whitehouse wannabes. Gentrification writ large. How you would exactly throw somebody under the bus!
Imagine if I said that race is real, men and women are different, men are naturally violent, and that we don't own the means of production (not to say I am a communist or sympathize with dumb anarchist types), I'm pretty sure I would be upset him and his uptight “terror squad” moron crew. I believe they still hold liberal values to be true, with their façade of trying to be “criminal” or at least being punk and "tough" to fit in with the punks that rejected them. They can't even have a common adult conversation around race! It never occurred to them that adults have sincere conversations all the time about many intellectual topics without any offense. Say one thing about the difference in IQ level, you are outed as a real “racist,” because irony is dominate in power electronics.
These PE types are so obsessed with offense and offending others, that they literally destroy anything that has an actual sincere conversation, and instead drip their aesthetics into this faux metal black satanism (and logos) to please this immature young person's pranking demand. All for this for intersectional “queer” culture status quo game to grab the affluent lives near NYC, LA, or SF.
I talked with the manager at a PE store in Bushwick, Brooklyn, arguing with him that what I believed in was sincere! And sadly, with a confused look on his face, this fat basement dweller didn't realize that nationalism or even talking about the concept of rape, are common themes in both the political science discipline and of feminism. These PE types shrug it off and say, "Hey, I'm trying to prove that I want to be a man!" “Look how edgy and scary I am!” “I am worse than that punk kid over there!”
Breakdancing Ronald Reagan, 50 Ways To Kill Me… all these losers who want to make their body their canvas, or to at least cash in on this “incel loserdom” hipster culture.
These post Whitehouse fanboys are enemies of mine because they translate the dark into something they want to LARP as and disregard any sense of paternalism and morality in the conversion.
I’m sure a roundtable discussion between Larry Clark, Peter Sotos, and Joseph Sciambra wouldn’t be decadent at all. We would hear about morality, queer culture, transgression, …all of it in this fantasy discussion. All these “Hail Satan” losers cheered on Ian Brady’s act, whereas even Sotos has told many of these losers to go fuck themselves.
And now I'm making a full circle into why straight-edge culture is so important! I consider myself straight-edge, and willing to confront drug dealers, alcoholics, sluts, and rapists of all backgrounds.
The PE scene is interested in this sad concept that "art is an expression.” A recent silly fad from the latest of Sol LeWitt proportion. They just don't want to write or even learn how to read a book! So instead, they do acts of transgression and try to stick with the modernist canon. (See? Let them write that long-winded argument about Zoophilia related to sadism!) Again, it has less to do with punk rock transgression, and more with this sad insecure “fitting in with the boys" type of behavior. (I would go as far as to argue they looking for approval from dumb art hoes too).
Another transgressive/PE loser by the name of Michael Nine / Death Squad / MK9 once during a show put a gun up to an audience member and scared everyone. Just imagine “the cool kid reputation” he gets for doing that! They all say his art is genius because we are offended by the act, when in all reality, this unethical act is uncalled for, and a complete act of degeneracy. MK9 promises he won't shoot anyone, and he writes (emulating the words of Whitehouse, his favorite band) a long goofy-ass pomo article of Andrew Dworkin's ideology of “why he did such a thing as an act against the patriarchy!”
Michael, you won’t be another Whitehouse. Thanks for trying hard, just like what Sine is doing with his so-called PTSD art. I heard MK9 loves Rick and Morty, and Sine is a sad Asiansexual of sorts in denial.
You know what? I’m feeling good. Let’s celebrate Sine’s birthday party! Yeah, he deserves it! I saw he had a big obnoxious punk flyer hanging around and I just noticed something. It’s like all these no-name cartoon characters love to have a special annual snowflake scenester party! A BIRTHDAY PARTY for DOING GOOD for the SCENE. HOW COOL IS THAT? A bizarre narcissistic ritual for the gentrified trying to contribute to the “collective.”

Imagine a hipster from the hardcore scene just finding out about libertarian philosophy, race realism, and basic paleoconservative arguing points, …and then making a Whitehouse album out of these things because "liberals get offended over it." “Yes, finally owning the libs!”
The problem is that the intellectual and adult world knows these concepts to be fact. Academia exists for a reason. Discussing such topics does not make one edgy, criminal, or punk. It shows you that the power electronics scene sinks to a whole new low when the goofy, immature, middle-class kids discover something that offends the TV set their boomer parents watch. And why not? Their peers are into gentrification too!
Power electronics fails to become a cohesive and principal scene on good music or of memory because the scene and its cult follower’s logic are about “whatever offends the politically correct.” This isn’t One Life Crew or some dumb “Uncuck The Right” propaganda. This is like Yoko Ono clones trying to relate to non-existent PTSD so they can get the punk kid points wrapped up in toxic masculinity and black metal “fear me, I’m a monster!” ideology.

Power electronics further shows that we ridicule, and at the same time, celebrate queer culture. This does not help Chris Chris, a soul that needs help, and it does not help this Asiansexual toyboy in denial. I love Chris Chan because of who he is sincerely. However, I dislike Chandler’s degeneracy and degrading self. He needs help.
I guess Chris Chan is celebrated in the punk canon and power electronics because of how “queer” he is. There is no sincerity here. Ridicule is what the ironic do, and it just doesn't work.
