Why I Don't Care About Jim Goad's Death
...Now what?
On June 22, 2026, at the age of 65, Jim Goad passed away due to health problems.
Who exactly was James Thaddeus Goad, born in 1961?
Before I can answer that, I will say that I do not care about this death.
This isn’t a eulogy. This isn’t a tribute.
This is a call-out.
So…
How does this make you feel, Lydia Lunch?
…And you, Chuck Palahniuk?
And Margaret Cho?
And Chris Korda?
…Doug Stanhope?
Peter Sotos?
Boyd Rice?
Matt Skiba?
Frank Faillace?
Dennis Cooper?
Shane Bugebee?
Kevin I. Slaughter?
Nick Bougas?
Jim Hogshire?
Travis LeBlanc?
Greg R. Johnson?
John Strausbaugh?
Jim Blanchard?
Chip Smith?
Hank Williams III?
Michael Malice?
J. B. Beverley?
Rachel Haywire?
Gavin McInnes?
Shaun Partridge?
C.B. Robertson?
Jack Donovan?
…And all you fake, Gen-X cocksuckers who can have their little transgressive culture while ignoring the far-right contradiction of their hedonistic celebrations…
All of you are in part associated with a post-punk movement that sold out to Thiel-funded institutions that want a Malthusian and Darwinian death to all millennials and hereafter…
Why should I ever care, even respect, someone in the “avant-garde” hate movement that crosses over into the bland Rockabilly aesthetic mixed with white-nationalism-as-a-biker-subculture?
Other millennials wanted Jim Goad’s approval. Who got them? Sam Hyde and Emily Youcis? More of the same far-right toadies who can’t find work in Pennsylvania? Do you think I will be in favor?
Or is it this haze initiation to be accepted, “banter” at, and verbally abused for telling one simple truth:
“Jim Goad once flipped the fuck when I said said something on Twitter about him which was too real.”
Goad screencaps my comment (which I wrote in passive terms), and he wrote,
“There’s not a single thing “real” about you, you hopeless nerd.”
So he gets mad and blocks me on Twitter for a simple line I wrote in a Luke Ford livestream.
That’s your “genius.”
Saying I “lash out?”
Is this not a projection on his behalf?
Was that enough to be accepted by punk culture?
What ever happened to straight edge? Friends Stand United? None of those I mentioned seem to care about ethics. It feels like these people want to “party,” “have fun,” and hate on the image of a “nerd” that they are so against. Goad is obviously making a projection about himself.
And he wrote more:
And this is your “based” and cool punk rocker? All of his fans will defend him, but certainly, if you get the blast, it has to be your fault.
So what now, Lydia Lunch? Is this what the New York punk scene is supposed to be? Brash and unapologetic?
It’s hard to imagine that Jared Taylor wanted Jim Goad to speak at American Renaissance, where he would have a speech titled “Why I am on the wrong side of history.” Only then to get replaced by Tara McCarthy, another alt-right agent who didn’t work out.
Trust me. The word “Asian Aryanism” scares these fuckers.
Jim Goad was always from the Delaware Valley. He grew up in Norristown. His parents used to live there. Goad was friendly when he sent out a signed copy of his book to me where I am. So yes, me and Goad are from “the same hood.”
Goad was a Trump supporter. True to the Gen-X nature of being a skinhead to harm liberals. No one can take that back. The reduction to “feelings” and being harmed was the simple mechanism of nihilism and punk for the sake of it.
It’s all a joke to him. A name-calling fest who can throw the better punch.
According to Luke Ford;
“In November 2019, Goad posted a snide remark about Johnson's arrest and deportation from Norway ahead of a far-right conference. Johnson answered with flattery he insists was sincere. A private message came back: “Magnanimous reply, Greg.” They talked, relitigated the seventeen-year-old review, and became friends; Goad argued his case against “Redneck Rousseau” like a lawyer, Johnson accepted it, and Goad allowed that the review was at least well written.”1
Goad says he’s not a “white nationalist,” and yet will be ok writing for a white nationalist blog out of the cool subculture of being one. Does Goad have sincerity?
I mean, me and Goad would talk and text all the time for three years!
Then, something happened to his ego.
He made connections. He had to become politically correct, and he had to cancel the old connections. And that included me.
Say goodbye to his only fan. His only Norristown homie. Who was that? Me.
Shane Bugbee once said that Goad threatened to fight him, and once he met him in a diner, Goad shook Bugbee’s hand. That tells you a lot about his character.
Goad had to talk to me because he was bored.
Just watch my video on Goad’s performative behavior, here:
It’s true. He’s a liar and a hipster. He knows it all.
I refuse to play the “oh dear we miss him so” game all of his so called fans are backers are doing. It’s not the truth who he really is.
When Adam Parfrey died, the usual suspects came in to scrub his background. Spencer Sunshine’s book “Neo-Nazi Terrorism and Countercultural Fascism” was right to point out that this is the “Abraxas Clique.” I guess the post version was the “Unpop" movement,” which I tried to write about as “Fast Food Fascism.” And now, after that, is Counter-Currents, accepting gay white nationalism and Gen-X transgression here and there.
How could they get away with this?
For anyone born in the 2000s, these people are the missing link to punk culture.
It’s not about white nationalism. To them, it’s about trauma bonding, abuse, and aesthetics.
Jim Goad was a dying breed. He was out of place in a society that couldn’t use him.
Bill Maher likely knows about his death and is keeping it to himself.
But I know the truth.
…Jim Goad worked with gangstalkers and other nefarious forces to weaken new voices. To celebrate that would be an offense.
Keith E. Lee (who died in 2020) wrote an email correspondence to Matt Forney about Goad’s use of sock puppet accounts and gangstalking:
I see no right-winger celebrating the outrageous nature of transgressive art, and that is designed on purpose. If the original purpose of the Abraxas Clique was to attack liberalism, we have to focus on that through the arts and within transgression. We do not support republicans or the far-right if it does not meet that goal.
Goad is the missing energy from hack publications like “Tone Glow.” Why are we worshipping cutesy things, when we should be offending and attacking the enemy with “Safe Sleazy?” The joke is on that person who believes the pedophile is out to get them and hurts black people. This is Goad’s ethos in a nutshell.
Don’t tell me you like him because of “saving white interests.”
He didn’t care about that.
I don’t care about Jim Goad’s death. I get nothing in return from it.
Anyone “mourning” Goad’s death is doing it out of virtue signalling to be accepted by other “punks” who sold out Gen-X long ago.
I was the only fan of Goad, and he hated me.
What does that say about the struggling artist?
They fear what is new. They don’t like tradition and transgression at all.
People like Goad don’t deserve my respect.
I am straight edge. I am AxA. That’s what I am about.
It’s a sad story when someone dies. Jesus Christ told us to take pity.
But everyone I listed who likes Jim Goad… …I don’t respect you.
They sold us out.
And so did Jim.
I don’t need validation from bantering or insults. I am calling out for what it really is: verbal abuse.
Rest in piss, you pretentious cocksucker.
We don’t need you or your art.
