Eurasianism seems to be the best term to use but functionally it should maybe be Aseuropism, if not named that, because the Asia part should come before Europe due to Westerners needing to adopt Shinto and Confucianist values. Japanese people probably initially assumed Europeans were civilized, but then later realized that The West might be a Barbarian zone, yet one that can be made civilized through Asiatic values, I am not suggesting the term Eurasianism be abandoned just that culturally Japan should be the center, rather than the West, yet some have made the argument that the center of Western civilization has shifted from USA to Japan, and before that had shifted from Rome to France to England then to USA and finally Japan.
